Special Inspection Services

Special Inspection is the monitoring of the materials and workmanship that are critical to the integrity of a building Training Session
structure. The International Building Code (IBC) established special inspection protocol and requires Structural Tests and Special Inspections for materials, installation, fabrication, erection and/or placement of components and connections. These special inspection processes require specific expertise to determine compliance with approved construction documents and referenced standards (see IBC Sections 1702 and 1704).

With several years of experience in Construction Material Engineering and Testing, Geotechnical Engineering, and hydrological Testing services, BAES has become a frontrunner in the field of Special Inspection services. BAES maintains a well-qualified staff with the required certification and experience to meet the requirements outlined in the IBC special inspection protocol.

As an established and independent firm, recognized through national accreditation and validation as an agency regularly engaged in conducting tests and inspections, BAES is acknowledged as an approved agency to provide Special Inspections under IBC criteria.
